Dr. Sarah bint Omar Al-Khouli, Vice President of Umm Al-Qura University (UQU) for Female Student Affairs, attended the orientation meeting organized by the Deanship of Scientific Research for introducing the Deanship’s services, centers, and achievements from its establishment to date (1435 - 1439 AH). The meeting was further attended by Dr. Halah bint Saeed Al-Amoudi, Dean of University Studies for Girls and Advisor to UQU Vice President for Female Student Affairs. They were received by Dr. Hanadi bint Muhammad Behairi, Vice Dean of Scientific Research for Quality, Development, and Academic Accreditation, together with the female deputy directors of the research centers. Also present was Dr. Abdurrahman Al-Ahdal, Dean of Scientific Research, from the university town in Al-Abdeyyah, via the live broadcast for the premises of the meeting at the female section of the Deanship of Scientific Research in Al-Zaher. This was on Sunday, Sha’baan 6, 1439 AH.
At the beginning of the meeting, the attendees were welcomed, and an orientation presentation was given on the most significant programs and services offered by the Deanship of Scientific Research with all its vice deanships that are considered a main driving force for crowning the efforts of researchers including faculty members and female graduate students. This is in addition to lauding the role of the Deanship of Scientific Research in the production of knowledge, which enhances the University’s efforts in achieving the national vision and supporting the modern development advancement.
The meeting was enriched by the effective contributions that were crowned with introducing the Deanship of Scientific Research and its vice deanships.
