Sharia College (Girls Section) Participates in (Heritage & Legacy) Festival

Represented by the Departments of Sharia and History, the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies (Girls Section) participated in theHeritage & Legacy” Festival. The Festival was organized by the Vice-Deanship of Student Affairs for Activities and Student Training on 8th-12th Rajab 1439H.

In this regard, an activity was organized by the Department of History on Wednesday, 11th Rajab 1439H in front of Khoquir Hall, D Building, 1st floor. This was led by a number of members: Dr. Amal Al-Thubeity, Dr. Fawziyah Nouh and Ms. Samira Al-Yazidy. The members along with the Department’s students prepared corners about the Kingdom’s regions to introduce their old heritage under the following titles: Hejaz, Al-Ahsa and the Eastern Province, the Southern Province, the Central and Northern Provinces, and Dukkan Zaman (Old Times Shop).  

In a tour that included all corners, visitors were guided by students and given presents from Dukkan Zaman. Moreover, an ancient hereditary wedding procession was performed and the National Anthem was chanted. As a result, the activity gained the admiration of all attendees.

On the other hand, a number of Sharia Department students participated in program presentation in the theater of Al-Jawhara Hall. In addition, they prepared a corner about the popular cuisine in Saudi Arabia.
