UQU Vice President for Female Students Affairs Opens University Role Model Contest and the Biochemistry Posters Exhibition

The UQU Vice President for Female Students Affairs Dr. Sarah bint Omar Al-Kholy launched the University Role Model Contest, the Second Season, organized by the Vice Deanship of Students Affairs for Students Activities and Training in the presence of the Dean of University Studies for Girls Dr. Hala bint Saeed Al-Amoudi and the Vice Dean of University Studies for Girls for Educational Affairs and Development Dr. Khulud bint Saad Al-Yousef at Al-Jawhara Hall at the university campus in Al-Zahir. 

 

Meanwhile, the Vice Dean of Students Affairs for Students Activities and Training Dr. Khulud bint Mohamed Abo Al-Naja announced the launching of the presentations of the participating female students reaching up to 23 students at the university main campus and its branches.    

 

At the conclusion of the ceremony, Dr. Sarah Al-Kholy commended such contests consistent with the comprehensive vision of the Makkah region adopted by the Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Emir of Makkah HRH Prince Khalid Al-Faisal as part of Makkah Cultural Forum under the log of: (How to be a Role Model). 

 

After that, Dr. Sarah honored the student who won the title of the university role model and all the participants and coordinators of the meeting. 

 

In another contest, the UQU Vice President for female Students Affairs Dr. Sarah Omar Al-Kholy the Scientific Posters Exhibition, Biochemistry in our daily life in the season of Hajj and Umrah, organized by the College of Applied Sciences represented by the Department of Chemistry at Sheikh Khogair Hall in building 2 at the university campus in Al-Zahir. the opening ceremony took place in the presence of the Dean of University Studies for Girls Dr. Hala bint Saeed Al-Amoudi, Vice Dean of University Studies for Girls for Educational Affairs and Development  Dr. Khulud bint Saad Al-Yousef, Vice Dean of the College of Applied Sciences Dr. Rajaa bint Tahir M'atooq and the Deputy Head of the Chemistry Department Tahani bint Mohamed Bawazeer.  

 

The exhibition included awareness paintings including detailed information f several medicines and painkillers used in our daily life to educating the community on the ways of usage and prevention.
