UQU President Reviews Package of Releases of Internship Students

President of Umm Al Qura University (UQU) Dr. Bakri Bin M'atoog Bin Bakri Assas has got briefed on the package of releases of the internship students of the College of Applied Medical Sciences, at his office in Abdiyah campus, on Monday Shawal 20, 1437H. Attending the meeting were the Dean of the College of Applied Medical Sciences, Dr. Ahmed Ashi, and the Vice-Dean for Hospitals Affairs, Dr. Maher Najmuddin Alandiyjany.
 
Dr. Assas said the quality and type are very important for creating the scientific environment needed to embrace sons of the nation and to reap high-quality outcomes in the field and specialization of the study. He lauded the work plan adopted by the College of Applied Medical Sciences and its prestigious programs in the field of scientific research.
 
For his part, Dr. Ashi said the package includes the books of  internship policy and general regulations and the skills envisioned to be acquired during the internship year. He lauded support and attention of the UQU President  and his keenness to follow-up all programs and activities of the college.  
 
The Vice-Dean for Hospitals Affairs, Dr. Maher Najmuddin Alandiyjany said the package has been distributed to more than 300 internship students of the six departments of the college currently being trained in the hospitals of the ministry of health, university hospitals and medical cities. He added that the college conducts weekly inspection tours to these hospitals to check on the process of training. "At the end of the training period the internship student handover the skills  booklet to the college showing the degree given to him by the training party against each skill he has acquired during the training period", he expounded.
