College Participates in “Hawaa’ and Making Glory” Program

As part of the activities of the Cultural Committee in the College of Shari’a and Islamic Studies (girls section), students have participated in the cultural activities of the committee in the Deanship of University Studies. This was done in cooperation with (Yusr) women’s center in Makkah, within the activities of the fourth annual program of UQU, entitled "Hawaa’ and Making Glory". The activities took place on both Wednesday and Thursday 28 and 29 Jumada Al-Oula 1439H at Al Jawhara Hall. In cooperation with its staff, the college allocated a corner for talking about the women of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and the Sahabiyat (female companions), may Allah be pleased with them, who had an impact on making glory. It included a visual presentation providing a simplified biography of the women of the Prophet and the Sahabiyat who were makers of glory. An educational competition was held entitled "Who is she?".Leaflets were distributed with motivational phrases for almsgiver women.

The Deanship of University Studies and Yusr Women’s Center have both honored Associate Professor at Shari’a Department, Dr. Nour bint Hassan Qarot, as one of the faculty members who made glory, in addition to the Assistant Director of College Administration, Dr. Amal bint Abdulhalim Turkistani as one of the employees who made glory.

As the program came to a close, the Deanship and the center honored employees: (Ms. Amal Turkistani,  Ms. Lou’lou’a Hamidy,  And Ms. Abir Al-Habib), in addition to student Latifa Al-Quthami from the Center of Islamic Studies as they have contributed to the preparation of the corner.
