Jamoum Department of Biology held the student meeting on Thursday Jumada Al-Awal 22, 1439 H under the sponsorship of the Dean of Jamoum University College Dr. Tawfiq bin Ali l-Sharif. The meeting was attended by the College Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research Dr. Abdullah bin Nassir Al-Shihri and the College Vice Dean of Educational Affairs Dr. Abdul-Majeed bin Fahad Al-Rofaei. The meeting was led by the Head of the Department Dr. Sameer bin Hassan Mohamed Qari in the presence of the department members and all students.
The meeting was initiated by a recitation from the Holy Quran after which the College Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research and the College Vice Dean for Educational Affairs addressed the audience.
After that, the Head of the Department addressed the meeting and welcomed the audience. He briefed them about the department polices and urged the students to exert more effort and encouraged them to save no effort in growing their knowledge.
Then, Dr. Ayman Al-Shahawi introduced the new plan of the bachelor of biology. He was followed by Mr. Jameel Fawzy who addressed the audience about the website of the department of Biology and its importance and content including; "student blog" which has many benefits to students scientific achievement and study. Then, Dr. Ashraf presented some general guidelines to students.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the opportunity was given to students to ask questions, and the outstanding students were honored and then breakfast was served to the audience.
