President of Umm Al-Qura University Dr. Bakri bin M'atooq bin Bakri Assas received at his office at the university campus in Abdyia, the content of the documentary research of the Seminar on "Private Libraries in KSA ‘Current Reality and Future", from the Director General of Makkah History Center Dr. Fawaz bin Ali Al-Dahas, after this content has been printed and published by King Abdul-Aziz Foundation for Research and Archives (Darah).
Meanwhile, Director General of Makkah History Center Dr. Fawaz Al-Dahas said the seminar's documentary book contained 12 scientific research. "These researches were received, checked and revised by a scientific committee including a number of academicians and researchers specialized in history sciences", he elaborated, indicating that the center has gifted 40 copies of this book to the university central library to serve male and female researchers and take advantage of these scientific researches.
For his part President of UQU Dr. Bakri Assas praised support attached by the Custodian of Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz Al-Saud to researchers and historians of Islamic history over the ages, pointing out that the university has obtained confidence of the wise leadership by establishing King Salman Bin Abdul-Aziz Chair for Makkah Historical Studies Scientific in partnership with King Abdul-Aziz Foundation for Research and Archives (Darah) to consolidate well-established scientific research in Islamic history and the efforts exerted by wise government in the architecture of the Grand Masque and service of pilgrims and Umrah performers.
He then lauded existing cooperation between Makkah History Center represented by King Abdul-Aziz Foundation for Research and Archives (Darah) which is reckoned main partner in the research process of the Islamic history. He confirmed the strategic partnerships with the Darah in a number of research aspects led by Darah partnership in King Salman Bin Abdul-Aziz Chair for Makkah Historical Studies Scientific.
