Haj Ministry, Scientific Research Deanship Discuss Cooperation

A delegation from the Deanship of Scientific Research visited the Ministry of Haj and Umra on Monday, 30th Rabie I 1439H. The Ministry was represented by Dr. Muhammad Semsem, Under-Secretary for Pilgrims Transportation Affairs. The visit aimed to discuss cooperation ways in different research domains that served the relevant departments of the Ministry.  

During the visit, the delegation consisted of Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Ahdal (Dean of Scientific Research), Dr. Abdullah Al-Baz (Vice-Dean for Information), Dr. Hanady Al-Buheiry (Vice-Dean for Quality, Development and Academic Accreditation), Dr. Somayya Al Sharaf (Vice-Dean for Research Volunteering and Voluntary Research), Dr. Abdulhady Al-Aidarous (Head of the Social Science Research Center), Dr. Somayya Hariry (Assistant Head of the Medicine Research and Medical Research Center), and Dr. Nora Al-Farouqui (Assistant Head of the Engineering and Architectural Science Research Center). 

On the other hand, the delegation was received by Dr. Muhammad Semsem and a group of directorate heads.   

The meeting started at 9:00 am with an introductory film about UQU and the Deanship of Scientific Research. Then, Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Ahdal gave a presentation on the Deanship and its vice-deanships and research centers.

This was followed by a detailed presentation by Dr. Semsem about the Ministry and its secretariats and directorates. Then, he gave a presentation on the Transportation Secretariat and its affiliated projects and development platforms.  

Within the same framework, each of the directorate heads demonstrated a simplified overview of their work and aspirations. 

During the meeting, the two sides agreed to complete the joint cooperation discussion to serve the objectives of the Ministry and utilize the research, voluntary, developmental and technical services in the Vice-Deanships and the various research centers. It is worth mentioning that the meeting was concluded at 11:30 am.
