College of Pharmacy Organizes a Workshop Titled " Pharmaceutical training in the Hospitals"

Unit of Community Service in the College of Pharmacy organized a workshop under the supervision of Dr. Alaa bint Dhafir Al-Qahtani for the male and female students of the college during the pharmaceutical field training presented by Pharmacist Meaad bint Abdul-Raziq on Thursday 7, 2017. 

The workshop is intended to improve experience of college's male and female student about the pharmaceutical training  via the modern standards of pharmacy practice  as applied globally. 

The workshop covered several themes including; modern applications in pharmacy, pharmacists working in the field of pharmaceutical services, importance of discussion and consultation with the patient properly, optimal doses of prescribed drugs and the accompanying nutritional system. 

The pharmacist Meaad bint Abdul-Raziq said the important elements of successful pharmaceutical training is the preparation and readiness for training phase, how to read medical prescriptions, the role of the pharmacist in the dictation of medication errors and how to deal professionally inside work environment.  

At the conclusion of the workshop, the pharmacist Meaad introduced some sources and modern e-applications  which can benefit student during the pharmaceutical training period in the hospitals.
