Within the framework of scientific partnership between educational institutions and the Saudi Electricity Company, UQU Electrical Engineering Department students made a visit to the electricity company in Makkah.

  Students were received and welcomed at Taneem station. They were given a detailed account of safety measures to take before entering the power station, then they were introduced to each part of it and the roles in electrical system.

 Dr. Yasir Al-Hazmi represented the university. The Electric company team was Mr. Dahlan Flimban, Eng. Sami Al-Zahrani, Eng. Mohamed Bakri, Mr. Nabil Sherbini and Mr. Ahmed Battawi.
