UQU President Launches Hader System Application on Smart Devices

President of Umm Al-Qura University Dr. Bakri bin M'atooq bin Bakri Assas launched the application of Hader system on smart devices to enable the employees to follow-up on their attendance and use self-services related to fingerprint system, leave and permission requests besides the official work tasks assignments. Present in the launching ceremony which took place at the President's office in Abdyia, were the UQU Vice President Dr. Yassir bin Suleiman Shoushou, Dean of Information Technology Dr. Majid Al-Qathami and the Director of Follow-up Department   Mr. Saeed Mohamed Yamani.

 

On this occasion, UQU Vice President Dr. Yassir Shoushou lauded the attention paid by the UQU President Dr. Assas to e-services system related to employees to upgrade the educational and research system and particularly the administrative environment which is reckoned the assisting instrument of those two systems in the bid to place Umm Al-Qura within the list of the top global universities. He pointed out that the UQU Vice Presidency in coordination with the Deanship of Information Technology seeks to develop employees services systems and the mean they are using in their work in accordance with the Kingdom Vision 2030 to achieve the e-government.

 

He said the application of Hader system supports the work on movable devices through Android and Apple systems thus enabling the employee to follow up his working hours and use self-service via his smartphone to inquire about his working hours' reports at any time and request e-permissions and leaves and all other services available on the system. 

 

Further, he explained that department directors were granted authorities to follow up employees attendance and accept e-permissions and leaves besides other services available on the system in such manner which will help in improving job performance electronically. He added the system gives them data on the attendance of the employees on daily, weekly and monthly bases besides checking on the existence of the employee during the working hours and scheduling employees shifts in different times.

  

For his part, President of UQU Dr. Bakri Assas said such expansion in the e-services comes in line with the directives of the Wise Leadership towards e-governance in accordance with the Kingdom Vision 2030 pointing out the e-service infrastructure in the university has been developed to achieve such services.  


He then lauded the e-services system which improves employees work environment reckoned the assisting hand for the educational and research affairs. He added the UQU Vice Presidency worked from an early time in collaboration with the Deanship of Information Technology to develop these services to exceed currently more than 90 services benefiting about 120 thousand from the affiliates of the university including; students and faculty members.
