As part of its community service activities, the Department of Biology represented by the Head of Department of Biology, Dr. Samir bin Hasan Mohamed Quary, and department staff along with the Vice-dean of Educational Affairs, Dr. Abdulmajeed Fahd Al-Refaei, received a student delegation from Fadil bin Ayyad High School accompanied by Ammar Al-Walidy and Magdy Al-Daagani on Wednesday, 28th Muharram, 1439 H
The visit program covered reception of the delegation by the Dean of Jumoum University College at 8:30 am; reception by head and staff of biology department at 8:45 am at hall no. 214, where delegation was given an overview of biology department, followed by a lecture on ecology. The delegation then made a tour to department of biology buildings at 9:45 am, where they visited the biology museum and computer labs at 10:15 am.
At the end of the visit, the Vice-dean of educational Affairs, Dr. Abdulmajeed Fahd Al-Refaei, received an honorary shield from the administration of Fadil bin Ayyad High School as a token of appreciation for the warm reception and valubale lecture by department of biology.
