Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sodais, General President for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque Launched the e-program of the Guidance General Department in collaboration with the Computer Engineering Department at UQU College of Computers and Information Systems. The program contains a database of all department staff.

Later, Sheikh Dr. Al-Sodais launched the Cooperating Sheiks Preparation Program for offering religious lessons at the Grand Mosque. He stressed the significance of engineering role in fulfilling the Grand Mosque's needs of technology.

At the end of the event, Sheikh Dr. Al-Sodais awarded the Presidency Shield to the Guidance General Department staff and UQU staff for their valuable efforts in serving the Grand Mosque. On their part, the Guidance General Department staff offered Sheikh Dr. Al-Sodais an honorary shield in appreciation for his serving the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors.
