During its annual ceremony, College of Arabic Language and Literature honored its outstanding affiliates in the presence of UQU Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Dr. Thamir bin Hamdan Al-Harbi, College Dean Dr. Abdullah Al-Qarni, College Vice Deans, Department Heads and College affiliates. The ceremony took place at the celebrations hall in the college.  

After initiating the ceremony with a Quranic recitation, speech of honored faculty members was delivered. After that Dr. Saud Al-Saadi delivered a poem which attracted attention of the audience. Then Dr. Mohamed Al-Qarni made a presentation about the successes of the college including; scientific, research and developmental achievements and partnerships in the academic year 1438 at the local and international levels.  

He was followed by the comic poet Dr. Yahiya Al-Oqaibi who delivered a poem which was largely welcomed by the audience. 

For his part, the Dean of the College, Prof. Abdullah Nassir Al-Qarni delivered speech in which he appreciated the support provided for the Saudi universities by the wise leadership and the close follow-up such prestigious institution gets from the UQU President Dr. Bakri Assas and resulted in making all these achievements at the university, local and regional levels, which the college of Arabic language and literature is proud of.

He then extended his thanks to the honored employees and lauded their scientific and administrative achievements stressing importance of honoring the outstanding figures and all those who contribute to development of their country.

After that, a poem was delivered by Mr. Ahmed Al-Harthi.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the UQU Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research and the Dean of Arabic Language College honored the outstanding faculty members, retirees and employees and presented them appreciation shields and certificates in recognition of their efforts.;
