The College of Engineering in Al-Qunfudhah, on Sunday, February 19 1443 A.H., held a virtual ceremony to celebrate the 91st National Day under the slogan: "It Is Our Homeland". On the next day, Monday, February 20 1443 A.H., the celebration was supplemented by holding an accompanying exhibition in the college building and honoring the winners of the competitions and the success partners.

The event was organized by the College of Engineering in Al-Qunfudhah, represented by the College Vice Dean for Development and Quality, in cooperation with the Engineering Volunteering Club and the College Student Advisory Council. This celebration was attended by His Excellency the Dean of the College, Dr. Alawi bin Muhammad Bamahdi, His Excellency the Vice Dean for Development and Quality, and Dr. Naif bin Ibrahim Al-Harbi.

At the beginning of the ceremony, His Excellency the Dean of the College inaugurated the accompanying exhibition. The General President of the Student Clubs, Faisal Belqasim Al-Amshani, presented an explanation of the mechanism of the exhibition and the events and competitions accompanying it. The General President of the Clubs gave an explanation of the mechanism of the competitions, which had two categories: The first category was "My Homeland as Depicted by My Camera Lens". The second category was "The Best Patriotic Poem".

The winners, who were honored, were as follows:

• The first category: Hadeel Muhammad Al-Sefri, Hanan Ali Gharawi.
• The second category: Talal Ibrahim Al-Nashiri, Abed Muhammad Al-Jabri.

The exhibition was attended by His Excellency the Vice Dean of Admission and Registration, His Excellency Dr. Muhammad Khader Al-Zailai, and His Excellency the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Ayman bin Fawzi Al-Falih. The exhibition was held in a calm atmosphere while following health protocols to limit the spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19).

At the end of the exhibition, His Excellency the Dean of the College of Engineering in Al-Qunfudhah, Dr. Alawi Bamhdi, extended his sincere thanks and appreciation to His Excellency the Vice Dean for Educational Affairs, Dr. Naif bin Ibrahim Al-Harbi, and the General President of Student Clubs, Faisal Belkasem Al-Amshani, for the efforts made to raise the level of university and community programs and activities of the College of Engineering, He also thanked all those in charge and the success partners.
