Pharmacy Student Club Holds Workshop under the Theme: (3 in 1)

On Thursday, April 27, 2017, the Pharmacy Student Club, at the UQU Deanship of Student Affairs, organized an event under the theme: "3 in 1", in cooperation with the Health Education Department of Kind Abdullah Medical City (KAMC) in Makkah.

The event included several useful lectures for students of the college. Dr. Alaa D. al-Qahtani, assistant professor at the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, College of Pharmacy, gave a lecture on "How to Write a CV". She explained components of a sound CV, and how to write them properly, as well as the objective of the CV. She stressed that the CV is the crossing gate to the job; it reflects personality of the applicant, and hence must be prepared carefully.

For his part, Dr. Osama Barasheed, from King Abdullah Medical City (KAMC), gave a lecture on "Research Basics". He defined research, and explained its requirements, types and properties. Research is currently regarded as a window to progress and prosperity in almost all walks of life, he expounded. 

Towards the end of the event, Mr. Turki Qashlan gave a lecture on "The Art of Time Management". He explained how a person could manage his time, highlighting the importance of time management. 

 Noteworthy, the event had a very positive impact on the students who were present. It is projected to develop their abilities to overcome the hardships they may face after graduation.
