Overview:
The Internship Unit is considered to be the connecting link between the Vice Deanship of Hospital Affairs and Training at the College of Pharmacy and the trainees in the sixth year of the pharmacist program. The unit is also responsible for following and supervising the trainees.
Objectives:
- Developing and carrying out plans to develop the tools and methods of evaluating trainees. This is carried out in a way that contributes in raising the level and competence of the graduates of the College of Pharmacy after completing the training of the sixth year, and in a way that keeps pace with the requirements of the local market.
- Preparing training guides and assessment forms for trainees.
- Coordinating and organizing procedures to evaluate trainees, which is performed by the training supervisors at the training centers accredited by the College of Pharmacy, Umm Al-Qura University, or the academic staff members at the Department of Clinical Pharmacy who are responsible for the training.
