In light of accelerating global pressures and contemporary socio-economic crises, the need for innovative interventions to improve social well-being and mental health is becoming increasingly apparent. The integration of advanced digital technology into the provision of professional social and psychological services, as well as other aspects related to overall quality of life, is now well established. This study attempts to shed light on one contemporary experience of virtual reality in delivering therapeutic services from the clinical social work perspective. Utilizing a qualitative methodology, the study aims to analyze the digital content available on a specialized platform. It thoroughly analyses therapy services provided through the metaverse, examining their therapeutic potential, identifying possible limitations, and offering inspiring insights for achieving high-quality social and psychological care. Furthermore, it explores how immersive environments can reshape traditional client-therapist interactions and therapeutic dynamics. The study reached a general conclusion that therapy services provided through the metaverse may be effective for specific conditions and limited psychosocial problems. However, it also highlights significant challenges related to user privacy, ethical considerations, and digital accessibility. Ultimately, the study emphasizes the necessity of developing virtual reality services through strategic partnerships with relevant professionals, including clinical social workers, to ensure appropriate regulation and ethical standards. These collaborative efforts are essential to establish comprehensive frameworks that protect vulnerable populations while maximizing the benefits of technological innovations in digital mental health care.
