Abstract
This study aimed to explore the role of digital transformation in developing field training skills among social work students at Umm Al-Qura University, with a particular focus on artificial intelligence (AI) and virtual reali-ty (VR) technologies as supportive tools in the training process. The study sought to identify the role of these technologies in the interaction between students and academic supervisors, compare the effectiveness of digital and traditional training methods, and propose strategies for improvement.The study adopted a descriptive-analytical methodology, utilizing an electronic questionnaire administered to a random sample of 178 social work students at Umm Al-Qura University The study recommended developing smart applications for real-time communication, establishing digital training libraries, expanding partnerships between universities and field institutions, and training staff to effectively utilize digital tools for optimal pro-fessional outcomes.
