Abstract
This study sought to identify the strategies of the Saudi Press discourse towards cultural change in the light of the kingdom's Vision 2030 as an analytical study within the framework of the persuasive, solidarity, hinting and guiding theories of pilgrims, it is considered one of the descriptive analytical studies that aims to describe the facts and social phenomena that tend to describe the phenomenon we are studying as it is, the study relied on the media survey method, which is one of the descriptive methods capable of studying the current facts related to the nature of a phenomenon in order to obtain sufficient information about it, and used the Content Analysis tool to and semantics of research data with the intention of reaching indicators The sample of the study was represented on the websites of Saudi newspapers (Okaz, Riyadh, Al Watan, Al Youm) in the period from 1-1-2019 to 1-1-2022, and the study concluded a number of results, most notably: The interest of the sample study's press sites in the persuasive Hajj strategy in its discourse towards cultural change in the light of the kingdom's Vision 2030, and this was evident through the high percentages obtained by each site among the total press materials that were analyzed, which included all kinds of solicitations, the study also revealed the interest of the sample study newspapers in the use of Solidarity Strategies of pilgrims, where many tools were used that express the solidarity strategy, and "praise" came at the top of the tools of the solidarity strategy with a percentage of 31.85%, while the pilgrims ' hinting strategies the journalist samples the study in her speech towards change In light of the kingdom's Vision 2030, where it resorted to using innuendo instead of statement in its speech, "affirmation actions" came in first place among the hinting strategies with a percentage of 43.70%.
