Reasons for the weakness of the Ottoman Em-pire and its influence on the Arab countries under the British-Ottoman Agreement

Abstract

The Ottoman Empire has contributed to playing an important and effective role throughout history, and more specifically in Islamic history, to the point that it has become one of the countries that occupies an important competitive position with respect to European countries, Based on this position, this research aimed to identify the reasons for the weakness of the Ottoman Empire and its influence on the Arab countries under the British-Ottoman Agreement, and to identify the main causes, motives and results of the British-Ottoman Agreement. It also aims to identify the manifestations of strength and weakness during the Ottoman rule of the Arab Islamic States and the extent of the influence of the Arabs in their strength and weakness. The historical inductive approach was based on the emergence of the Ottoman Empire and its most important rulers in periods of weakness and strength. The research has produced a number of important findings; There are many different opinions about the relationship between the Ottoman Empire and the Arab countries in many books. s territory, On the other hand, there are books that have shown the extent of the lies about the Ottoman Empire in relation to the Arabs. was justified by the fact that the Ottoman Empire had led the Arab countries towards Islam through its many conquests, The results also reflected the results of the British-Ottoman Agreement concluded at The Ottoman Empire (29 July 1913) was robbed of its loss of Qatar and Bahrain and falling under British influence. The study recommended the need to increase the number of studies and research that would enhance the efforts of the Ottoman Empire in the Arab countries. The research also stressed on the need for Arabic literature to benefit from studying the history of the Ottoman Empire and analyzing the reasons that led to its collapse, which can help avoid similar mistakes and improve administration and national development.
