Abstract
The personality of Fakhr al-Din Yusuf, Ibn Sheikh al-Shuyoukh, was distinguished by special traits, which prompted the kings of the Ayyubid state to trust him and rely on him to carry out important tasks. This research deals with one of the tasks assigned to Fakhr al-Din Yusuf by al-Malik al-Kamil Muhammad in the year 629 AH / January 1232 AD, which is to restore the Ayyubid influence over Makkah al-Mukarramah after this influence was lost at the expense of the Rasulid state in Yemen. The nature of the problem researching the nature of the mission that was assigned to Fakhr Al-Din Ibn Sheikh Al-Shuyoukh, a flight from the success of his mission, except that he faced anger that could be Muhammad.
