Abstract

The study aimed to determine the requirements of the professional practice of international social work in terms of digital transformation, and the most important obstacles it faces. This study is considered one of the descriptive studies that relied on the comprehensive social survey method for faculty members in departments and colleges of social work in Saudi universities (N= 80). A questionnaire designed by the researcher was used to collect data in the field, .The study concluded with a set of results, the most important of which is that That the level of value, skill, knowledge and technological requirements for the professional practice of international social work in terms of the digital transformation (high),The results showed that there are obstacles facing the professional practice of international social work in terms of the digital transformation, the most important of which is the inability clients to access the sources of e-services, the lack of continuous training for social workers to keep pace with developments in the fields of international work, and the absence of legislation and laws regulating online social work in some countries.
