Abstract

This research aims to shed light on the economic life in the Prophet’s era. This is through the writings of Al-Waqidi (130-207 AH = 747-823 AD), Specifically, his famous book (Al-Maghazi), and the writings of Al-Baladhuri (191-279 AH = 806-892 AD), specifically his two books (Futuh al-Buldan) and (Ansab al-Ashraf), In this research, we have talked about agriculture, trade, industries and crafts in the Prophet’s era, and at the conclusion of this research we concluded that the works of Al-Waqidi and Al-Baladhari, especially the works that we relied on in our study, gave a clear picture of the features of economic life in the Prophet’s era.
