Preparatory Program on Safety, Risk, and Crisis Management for Non-Profit Institutions

From 28 Rabi` Al-Awwal to 6 Rabi` Al-Thani 1440 A.H.

Introduction:

"Salamati" is a preparatory program offered by the Consulting Research and Studies Institute at Umm Al-Qura University. It aims to train and qualify female workers in non-profit organizations on the basics of safety, risk, and crisis management. The program also aims to raise awareness about the safety of enterprises by providing an overview of administrative, financial, and technical risks, in addition to awareness and management of appropriate risk conduct.

The program provides trainees with access to and use of safety and security standards in various practical aspects. It also provides access to the latest information on safety principles with regard to managing the various types of risks at work in non-profit institutions. In addition, it provides training in the most important security and safety mechanisms for the protection of institutions, lives, and property against different types of risks.

Objectives:

  • Introduce the trainee to the basic concepts of security and safety in several areas.
  • Enable the trainee to manage risks and crises.
  • Introduce the trainee to safety standards and minimize work risks.
  • Develop the trainee's skills in the security of facilities and information.
  • Educate and raise the trainee's awareness of appropriate risk conduct.
