We would like to express our appreciation and thanks for your lauded interest and desire to complete your postgraduate studies at Umm Al-Qura University, but we are really sorry to inform you that you have not been nominated for the paid postgraduate programs for the academic year 1442 AH. for one of the following reasons:
- Failure to fulfill one of the general or specific admission requirements for the program, noting that all applicants were notified of the unfulfilled requirements during the period from 19 Dhul-Hijjah, 1441 A.H., to 21 Dhul-Hijjah, 1441 A.H. In this case, the sign "X" shall be added in front of the document verification icon on the right of the application screen in the Unified Admission Portal.
- Some academic departments stipulated that the applicant must pass some supplementary courses. The nomination for these applications will be determined according to the availability of vacant seats and the capacity of the respective department.
- Failure to pass the preference criteria for the program or programs for which the applicant applied. In this case, the minimum percentage accepted for each major will appear on the screen.
Preference Mechanism:
The preference criteria between the applicants is the equivalent percentage specified for each stage.
First: Higher Diploma and Master's Programs
The applicant's equivalent percentage = the percentage of the GPA.

The applicant's equivalent percentage = 0.7 x the percentage of the Master's degree + 0.3 x the percentage of the GPA.
