Completing the Procedures of Degree Grant
- The Head of the Department shall submit the defense panel’s report to the Dean of the Postgraduate Studies as per the form made for it in a period that does not exceed three weeks starting from the date of defense, in case the thesis was accepted with no amendments.
- If the defense panel’s report included the acceptance of the theses with some amendments, the Head of the Department shall submit a degree grant recommendation to the Dean of the Postgraduate Studies as per the form made for it in a period that does not exceed two weeks starting from the receiving the amended thesis.
- The Dean of the Postgraduate Studies shall submit the degree grant recommendation to the University Council to take a decision.
*The scientific degree is being granted by a decision from the University Council based on the recommendation of the Council of the Deanship of the Postgraduate Studies.
