Duties:
- Preparing work plans for the upcoming activities and events.
- Preparing a list of students’ extracurricular events and community service activities in which the department intends to participate, in coordination with the Vice-Deanship for Development and Community Service, and submitting a related report.
- Preparing a list of academic staff members who would like to participate in students extracurricular events and community service activities.
- Supervising the implementation of students extracurricular activities, according to the plan and the approved time map.
- Submitting periodical reports on past student activities, supported with photos and documents, to be published after approval of the chairman of the committee.
- Establishing community partnerships with schools as well as shelters for the elderly and people with special needs to perform a range of activities and events.
- Encouraging students to participate in activities and events.
- Highlighting the community service role of the department.
- Preparing special reports on department's participation in students extracurricular events and community service activities.
