The Development and Quality Department works on advancing the activities of the Deanship and its services through applying the institutional and academic standards and disseminating the quality principles and basics in all the departments of the Deanship.
Tasks of the Department:
- Participating in setting the Deanship’s strategic plan, assessing and monitoring rates of progress and quality in the Deanship’s departments
- Drawing up the executive plans for the Deanship’s activities and following up on them
- Crafting and preparing the Deanship’s guidelines
- Publishing evidence, models and information related to the Deanship and all the activities and practices it performs alongside its departments
- Conducting inclusive self-assessment to the Deanship, and determining the weakness and strength points of the overall performance
- Discussing the assessment results with all the Deanship’s departments, and tackling the mechanisms of removing the difficulties related to the quality field
- Following up on the usefulness of the inclusive self assessment results for the Deanship
- Keeping an eye on applying the inclusive assessment plan for the Deanship’s services
- Documenting all the Deanship’s accomplishments
- Preparing improvement and development proposals for all the Deanship’s activities and fields
- Communicating with the local and world accreditation bodies for obtaining the models required for the institutional accreditation process in coordination with the University Development and Quality Deanship
