A value I endeavor to achieve and a vision I hope to reach is to show kindness to people, deal with them honestly, help those around me, being beneficial to them as much as possible, and leave my own mark which will make them remember me when I depart. Since I joined UQU, I have endeavored to develop myself, participate in my university activities, and volunteer in the societies of my community, in different fields. I strive to do more to serve my religion and nation.

Yusuf bin Musa bin Dawoud
College of Shari`ah and Islamic Studies
A son of a noble family, Secretary General of the Advisory Council of the College of Shari`ah, member of the board of directors of many student clubs affiliated to the Deanship of Students Affairs, and member of many volunteering teams.
Student, writer, and legal researcher, I am interested in Shari`ah and its complementary sciences. I am passionate about volunteering, and endeavor to harness my talent in all fields. I have attended various scientific conferences and seminars.
My objective is to contribute in serving Islam and building and developing the community by disseminating useful knowledge, and to follow in the footsteps of our righteous Muslim predecessors. I aspire to pursue my educational career and join the postgraduate study program to eventually become a university professor.

Third Candidate
Yusuf Mashaal Al-Harthi
College of Shari`ah and Islamic Studies
Your brother Yusuf, a student in the fourth level in the College of Shari`ah and Islamic Studies. I am interested in reading and reviewing our Islamic Shari`ah laws and regulations. Moreover, my interest in spreading legal culture resulted in me lunching the Horizons Legal Initiative to disseminate legal culture. I am also a member of many legal initiatives. Added to this, I am interested in development courses and programs which enable a person to gain knowledge and increase efficiency. My aim is to represent my nation and religion, become an example of the ambitious Muslim youth, and have a positive influence on people around me.
