The Deanship of Postgraduate Studies announces the start of admission and registration in postgraduate studies programs (with and without tuition) for the stage of higher diploma, master and PhD degrees for the academic year 1443 A.H. Registration will be from Wednesday, 7 Shawwal 1442 A.H., corresponding to 19 May 2021 A.C., until Monday, 12 Shawwal 1442 A.H., corresponding to 24 May 2021 A.C.
All those desiring to enroll in postgraduate studies at the university must be aware of and adhere to the admission conditions announced and stipulated in the Unified Bylaw for Postgraduate Studies in Saudi Universities and the UQU Regulatory and Executive Rules and Regulations.

General Conditions for Admission
- The applicant must be a Saudi citizen or, if non-Saudi, hold an official post-graduate scholarship.
- The applicant must have obtained a university degree from a Saudi university or another accredited university.
- In order to be admitted to the master's stage, the applicant should have completed the university stage with a minimum of a "Very Good" grade. For the PhD program, the applicant should have obtained a grade of not less than "Very Good" in the master's stage. For the diploma program, the applicant should have obtained at least a grade of "Good" in the bachelor's stage.
- The applicant must be known for good behavior and be medically fit.
- The applicant must submit two letters of recommendation from current or former professors.
- The applicant must obtain the approval of their employers, if they are employed.
- For PhD degrees, a letter of approval must be obtained from the authority that has employed the applicant stating s/he will be available for full-time study.
- If the program is offered in the evening, the students are not required to be fully dedicated to the study.
Special Conditions for Admission
- All conditions related to the appropriateness of the applicant's specialization must be met.
- The applicant must obtain the appropriate score for the General Aptitude Test for university students: (http://www.qiyas.sa/Pages/default.aspx) with 5-year validity, as follows:
- A score of 65 as a minimum when applying for Higher Diploma programs.
- A score of 70 as a minimum when applying for master's programs.
- A score of 75 as a minimum when applying for PhD programs.
- Passing the admission test prescribed by the department.
- Passing one of the three types of the TOEFL English test: CBT, IBT, or PBT (http://www.ets.org/toefl) with 2-year validity, or other equivalent tests, such as ILETS, https: (https://www.britishcouncil.sa) with 2-year validity.
- All conditions set by the colleges must be met.
