UQU Internal Audit and Technical Support Team conducted an inspection visit to the College of Community Service and Continuing Education at Azizia branch within the endeavors of the university to obtain the institutional accreditation. The team was received by the Dean of Community Service Dr. Khalid Barqawi, College Vice Deans, Heads of Departments and Quality Coordinators.
The Internal Audit Team was headed by the Vice Dean of University Development and Quality Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Noaifei Al-Solami on behalf of the Dean Dr. Mohamed Jaafar Thabit. During the visit, the College made a presentation about its programs and efforts in serving the community. The presentation included discussion and developmental proposals. After that, the team completed its tasks by examining the documents, meeting faculty members and students and checking on the preprations.
For his part, Dean of Community Service and Continuing Education, Dr. Khalid Barqawi said the college endeavors to becoming a pioneering scientific reference for the best means and methods of serving the community in effective and high quality fashion, and provide specialized scientific support in this field in such a manner which contribute to developing the community and boosting efficiency of its institutions. He added that the college provides high quality educational, teaching and training programs which meet requirements of community and labor market and intended to achieve effective partnership with the different community institutions.
At the conclusion of the visit, Dr. Barqawi lauded the support the college received from the UQU President Dr. Bakri Assas and praised the inspection visit of the delegation to approve different programs of the college in the training and qualification fields.
