Umm Al-Qura university will participate in the International Exhibition & Conference on Higher Education to be held under patronage of the Custodian of Two Holy Mosques  from April 12 to 15, 2017 at the International Conferences Center in Riyadh. It will be organized under the slogan of "the role of Saudi Universities in achieving Kingdom Vision 2030".

 
The conference will witness participation of 80 universities within the list of top 100 universities globally, number of relevant higher education institutions and international organizations, Saudi universities and higher education institutes, quality, measurement, evaluation, academic accreditation, e-learning and distance education commissions in addition to research and study centers.

    
The university will participate through its different deanships such as admission and registration and graduate studies and etc. In addition to the participation of the investment arm of the university Wadi Makkah Company to highlight university experience in achieving objectives set forth in the Kingdom vision 2030 including; supporting entrepreneurship, providing job opportunities for youth, attracting investors and etc.. 

President of Umm Al-Qura university who serves also as the Chairman of Board of Directors of Wadi Makkah Company Dr. Bakri bin M'atooq bin Bakri Assas said the participation of the university comes to introduce its educational programs and research activities and to learn about the international experiences, means potentials  set to improve efficiency of educational outcomes. 

For his part, the UQU Vice president for Academic Development and Community Service, acting UQU Vice President for Business and Innovation and Deputy Chairman of Wadi Makkah Company Dr. Hani bin Osman Ghazi said the participation of Wadi Makkah is intended to highlight its pioneering experience in transferring technology and the commercial transformation, describing the exhibition as an opportunity to meet international experiences for exchanging ideas and visions and concluding partnerships with owners of prominent experiences in the field of the commercial transformation.
