The UQU President Visits the University Branches and Holds Meetings with Their Deans and Council Members

The President of Umm Al-Qura University, Prof. Moaddi bin Muhammad Aal Madh-hab, held meetings with the deans and college council members of the university branches in Al-Qunfudhah, Al-Leith, and Adham. These meetings took place during his inspection visit to the university branches from the 2nd to the 4th of the current month. Prof. Moaddi was accompanied by university vice presidents, deans, and officials of the relevant departments in the university.

The UQU President, Prof. Moaddi Aal Madh-hab, praised the support given by the wise leadership (may Allah support it) to the educational process at the university, which provides it with the means of its success. This support reflected positively on the localization of university education and the generalization of its research outputs over a wide geographical range, in the different governorates of the region, in response to the development aspirations of the Emirate of Makkah Al-Mukarramah.

The UQU President commended the support of His Excellency the Minister of Education, Dr. Hamad bin Muhammad Aal Al-Sheikh, and His Excellency the Deputy of the Minister for Universities, Research, and Innovation, Dr. Muhammad Al-Sudairi, of all the activities and the programs of the university. Prof. Moaddi stressed that the needs of the branches of the university are the subject of his personal concern and the concern of all university officials, and they will endeavor to achieve them, Allah willing, according to the priorities and capabilities. Moreover, the UQU President focused on the need for strengthening the principle of quality in the educational process.

The UQU President and those who accompanied him viewed the facilities of the Al-Qunfudhah colleges, represented in the University College, the College of Health Sciences, the College of Computer Science, the College of Engineering, and the College of Medicine. They also viewed the facilities of Adham University College and the colleges of Al-Leith branch, represented in the Deanship of the Joint First Year, Al-Leith University College, the College of Health Sciences, College of Engineering, and College of Computing.

This visit came as a continuation of the UQU President's field visits to the university's colleges and departments to ascertain the condition of the educational facilities, and meet the university affiliates.
