Dr. Al-Asmari: UQU Female Leaders and Members Set the Best Example for the Role of Women in National Development

The Vice President of Umm Al-Qura University for Female Student Affairs, Dr. Wardah Al-Asmari, stressed the importance of the role of women in all areas that contribute to achieving the Saudi Kingdom's Vision 2030. “The achievements of women at Umm Al-Qura University during the coronavirus pandemic are a living model that demonstrates the role of women in comprehensive national development,” she added.

This came within the activities of the Women's Forum organized by Taif University, represented by the University Vice Presidency for Female Student Affairs, coinciding with International Women's Day. The forum witnessed the participation of a group of female academics from different Saudi universities, and included two sessions that tackled the success and achievements of the Saudi women in light of the Saudi Vision 2030 and during the coronavirus pandemic.

In her talk, Dr. Al-Asmari shed light on the efforts of the female academics at Umm Al-Qura University and their achievements during the pandemic in the practical, research, administrative and volunteer streams, as well as the work related to digital transformation and distance education.

At the end of the forum, the Vice President for Female Student Affairs, on her behalf and on behalf of her colleagues at the university, thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his trustworthy Crown Prince for their blessed efforts in caring for the homeland and the citizen, and empowering women in various fields to serve the nation and participate in comprehensive development.
