UQU Presidents briefed on achievements of Consulting Research and Studies Institute

President of the Umm Al-Qura University (UQU) Dr Bakri bin Ma’atoq Assas was briefed on a report about achievemtnts of the Consulting Research and Studies Institute on Wednesday 16-6-1438H at his office in the University City in Abidya.

The report was presented by Dr Ali bin Mohamed al-Shaeri, the Dean of the Consulting Research and Studies Institute.

Dr Assas listened to a detailed report from the institute’s dean about achievements of the institute for the half of year 1438H regarding consulting services, supporting professional accreditation services and consulting contracts signed by the university consultants and consultancy offices in addition to achievements of the institute and supporting professional accreditation, the progress of work in the training and continuing medical education unit, the development and engineering training unit, the unit of continuous development of teachers and educational leaders, the unit of training and consulting in geographic information systems, and the unit of training and consulting in computer and information technology systems.

He was also briefed on strenuous efforts by the institute to realize the idea of establishing two new units in the field of providing Hajj and Umrah services in cooperation with Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research and in the field of hotels and tourism in cooperation with the College of Business Administration. The meeting also tackled the progress of work regarding the institute’s initiatives for achieving the Kingdom Vision 2030 and the National Transormation Program for 2020 by the training center for simulation of crises, disasters and ensuring safety in projects.

UQU President Dr Bakri bin Ma’atoq Assas hailed efforts and achievements by the Consulting Research and Studies Institute under Dr Ali bin Mohamed al-Shaeri.

For his part, Dean of the Consulting Research Studies Institute thanked the UQU President for his continuous and unlimited support for all activities and programs of the institute.
