Under sponsorship of UQU President Dr. Bakri bin M'atooq bin Bakri Assas, the UQU Vice Presidency represented by the Department of Faculty and Personnel Affairs will organize on Thursday Jumada Al-Thani 24, 1438 H an honoring ceremony for the university retirees amounting to 106 including faculty members and employees. The ceremony will take place at King Abdul-Aziz Historical hall in Abdyia campus for males, and Al-Jawhara hall in Al-Zahir for females.
On this occasion, the UQU Vice President Dr. Yassir bin Suleiman Shoushou expressed thanks and appreciation to UQU President for sponsoring this ceremony thus reflecting his keenness to honor university retirees including faculty members and employees who exerted considerable efforts in serving this lofty entity in Umm Al-Qura and sacrificed their time, and age for the sake of upgrading the university and boosting its status. He added that through such a ceremony, the university seeks to offer an appreciable gesture to its affiliates who contributed significantly to the its scientific and practical march.
