As part of the "Research Skills in Islamic Studies, features and prospects" Program launched by the Islamic Studies Research Center at the Scientific Research Deanship, a lecture was held on Monday 14/06/1438 AH under the title of Pillars of Scientific Research in Islamic Studies. The lecture was delivered by Sheikh Justice Dr Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Humaid member of staff at the College of Sharia (Islamic Law) and Islamic Studies. It was held at Sheikh Omar al-Sabeel Hall at the College of Sharia and aired to al-Juffali Hall for female students section. 

The lecture was presented by the Director of the Center Dr Mohamed al-Sawwat, who presented a certificate of appreciation from the Scientific Research Deanship to Dr Ahmed bin Humaid.

The lecture was attended by some of the teaching staff and students topped by the Dean of the Scientific Research Dr. Abdurrahman Ghaleb Al-Ahdal and vice deans and students of the Sharia College.
