Represented by its Dean Dr. Ali bin Mohamed Al Shaeri and Vice-Dean Dr. Raed Shalwala, UQU Consulting Research and Studies Institute participated in the 9th Meeting of Saudi Consulting Research and Studies Institutes, hosted by Majmaah University represented by King Salman Institute for Studies and Consulting Services, with theme: “The Role of Consulting Research and Studies Institutes in Achieving the 2030 Vision”.
Present at the meeting were Deans, Vice-Deans and representatives of Saudi Consulting Research and Studies Institutes. The meeting featured four sessions. The first session addressed “The Role of Consulting Research and Studies Institutes if Achieving the 2030 Vision”, whereas the second focused on “The Difficulties and Challenges Facing Consulting Institutes and Response Strategies”. The third session dealt with “Aspects of Cooperation between Saudi Consulting Research and Studies Institutes”, while the fourth discussed “Proposed Projects to Diversify the Institutes’ Resources and Ways to Develop Them”.
Concluding their meeting, participants recommended developing mechanisms for positive cooperation among Saudi Consulting Research and Studies Institutes, supporting and activating their programs and projects, in line with the Kingdom's 2030 Vision. They called on encouraging inter-institutes alliances based on each institute's competitive edge, experiences and potentials. They also stressed the importance of sharing ideas and solutions to overcome hurdles and challenges facing them, to enhance their chances for success, while holding regular meetings over the coming years, selecting Al-Baha University to host the upcoming event followed by Qassin University.
In addition, participants extended their appreciation to Education Minister Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Issa for sponsoring the 9th Meeting, to King Salman Institute for Studies and Consulting Services for optimal preparation, organization and communication, and to Consulting Research and Studies Institutes for their effective engagement in the Meeting.
At the end, on behalf of UQU President Dr. Bakri Bin M'atoog Bin Bakri Assas, the Dean of UQU Consulting Research and Studies Institute Dr. Ali bin Mohamed Al Shaeri expressed his deep thanks to Majmaah University represented by King Salman Institute for Studies and Consulting Services for the outstanding preparation, organization and communication. “Represented by the Consulting Research and Studies Institute, UQU is very keen to take part effectively in such meetings, and enrich them with brainstorming, discussions and contributions to serve our homeland according to the Kingdom’s 2030 Vision.”, added Dr. Al Shaeri. At the same time, he hailed Dr. Assas’ support to the Institute, and his follow-up for its diverse activities and programs.
