Umm Al-Qura University, represented by the University Vice Presidency for Female Student Affairs, organized a celebration for three days, consisting of a number of national events, under the slogan: “Loyalty and Sincerity to the King of Glory and Prosperity”. The celebration was held to commemorate the sixth anniversary of the pledge of allegiance to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz (may Allah safeguard him), via its virtual platform in the presence of the UQU Vice President for Female Student Affairs, Dr. Sarah Al-Khuli, and the participation of leaders, male and female academic staff members, and other male and female university affiliates.

Dr. Al-Khouli stated that the events aimed to promote the concept of citizenship and listening and obeying the rulers, in recognition and pride of the leader of our blessed progress, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and his faithful Crown Prince, may Allah assist them. She highlighted the development and economic achievements towards the prosperity of the nation and the welfare of the citizens, which have been evident over the past five years. Thanks to these achievements, the Saudi Kingdom has proudly occupied a very distinguished rank among world countries.

On the first day, the events included a cultural evening entitled, “Salman, the King of Leadership, and the Pledge of Allegiance to the Homeland”, with the participation of university employees. On the second day, the events continued with a forum entitled, “Judicial Innovation in the Era of King Salman”, which included a documentary that featured the history of King Salman and his benevolent accomplishments. The third-day events included a symposium entitled, “Empowering Women during the Reign of King Salman”.

The events dealt with the most important achievements of the auspicious era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, in which his wisdom and sophistication were revealed, may Allah assist him, ushering his country to prosperity and progress. On their part, the Saudi people have grown even more supportive to their leadership, and willingly pledge allegiance of obedience to their leader, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his Crown Prince, asking Allah to bless their endeavors.

During the celebrations, the Vice President for Female Student Affairs honored the participants for their efforts, which reflected their preservation of the culture of their homeland, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and its historical legacy.
