The General President for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, Dr. Abdul-Rahman Al-Sudais, congratulated the UQU President, Prof. Moaddi bin Muhammad Aal Madh-hab, on gaining the noble royal trust and for the issuance of the royal decree appointing him as the UQU President. This came during his visit today, Wednesday, 11 Rabi` Al-Awwal 1442 A.H., to the office of the UQU President in Al-Abdiyyah. The UQU received him warmly and thanked him for this visit and for his congratulations.
In this regard, Dr. Al-Sudais expressed his pride in the special standing of the university and its distinguished role in developing the work of the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque through the partnership and cooperation between the two parties reflected in several agreements and programs serving the Two Holy Mosques in line with the aspirations and directives of the wise leadership (may Allah support them).
The UQU President said the honor of the neighborhood given to the university and the excellence of its cadres provided it the opportunity to become the scientific and research partner of the general presidency in its development work and initiatives. He then praised the role of the presidency and its efforts in serving the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors.
On this visit, Dr. Al-Sudais was accompanied by His Eminence the Imam of the Holy Mosque, Sheikh Dr. Mahir Al-Meiqli, the Deputy President of the General Presidency for the Scientific and Intellectual Affairs, Dr. Nassir Al-Zahrani, the Deputy President of the General Presidency for Guidance Affairs, Sheikh Sulaiman Al-Maqoushi, and the Director General of the General President's Office, Mr. Badr Aal Al-Sheikh.
