President of Umm Al Qura University (UQU) Dr. Bakri Bin M'atoog Bin Bakri Assas has congratulated Dr. Sami bin Yasin Borhamin on appointment as Dean of the Two Holy Mosques Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research.

He wished him success during his two-year mandate and asked Allah to help him carry out his mission perfectly.

During a meeting on Sunday, Jumada al-Thani 06, 1438H at his office in Al-Abdiyah, Dr. Assas asked Dr. Borhamin to provide more research studies on issues reported by pilgrims. He noted the institute, as a bank of issues and corresponding definitive solutions, receives special support from leaders of the kingdom.

He added the institute has provided researches and studies on many development Hajj and Umrah projects in terms of the urban and engineering activities, administrative and humanitarian studies, media researches in addition to the information, scientific, environmental and health services.

The President said the institutes has a group of unique staff who are specialized in Hajj and Umrah researches with scores of years of experience. The Hajj & Umrah Institute gives out 70 studies and programs over the year, he said, saluting its staff and wishing them more success.

In the same context, Dr. Borhamin hailed Dr. Assas' support and decision. He prayed to seek help from Allah to perfectly carry out duties and meet the aspiration of pilgrims in line with the government services.
