His Excellency the UQU President, Prof. Abdullah Bafail, and the commander of the King Fahd Air Base in the Western Sector, Major General Pilot Muhammad Al-Shahrani, signed a cooperation agreement between the two sides in the field of studies, consultation, research, and training.

The cooperation agreement includes an assessment of the needs of King Fahd Air Base to meet the criteria for the healthy cities system as well as the planning and development of the executive programs, in order to achieve the targets of healthy cities. It also aims at participating in the preparation of studies and administrative, technical and scientific consultation in this field, besides training volunteers at the local level and implementing university volunteer programs for Air Base affiliates. In addition, it includes practical training for university students in all the available specializations at King Fahd Air Base.
