The scientific paper of the doctoral student Ali Abdulaziz Al-Zubaidi from Umm Al-Qura University, who is on a scholarship at Newcastle University in Britain, received the Best Scientific Paper award at the IEEE Smart IoT 2020 conference that recently concluded its proceedings in China in the field of Internet of Things and Blockchain.
The paper presented by Al-Zubaidi included, "an innovative methodology for the Blockchain concept that enables responding to technical incidents that breach quality agreements related to cloud services, in the context of the Internet of Things".
This contribution deals with the automatic enforcement of quality service agreements without human intervention, and the need to give absolute confidence to the service provider or resorting to a third party to enforce these agreements.
It is noteworthy that Ali Al-Zubaidi is on a scholarship from the College of Computer and Information Technology at Umm Al-Qura University branch in Al-Leith to proceed with his postgraduate studies at Newcastle University in Britain. Al-Zubaidi is one of the distinguished young Saudi cadres in the field of Internet of Things.
