College of Education at Umm Al-Qura University organized a scientific meeting under the theme: (Grants and Support of Research Programs by the Deanship of Scientific Research) at the college's theatre on Tuesday Jumada Al-Oula 24, 1438 H. Present in the scientific meeting were the Dean of the College of Education. Dr. Ali Al-Matrafi. The Dean of Scientific Research Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Ahdal, the Vice Dean of the Deanship of Development for Assessment and Evaluation, Dr. Dhaib Al-Maliki, the Vice Deans of the College and Deanship, Heads and Deputy Heads of the Departments as well as the male and female students of the graduate studies. 

After initiating the meeting with Quranic recitation, the Dean of the College Dr. Al-Matrafi delivered a welcoming speech in which he lauded the efforts exerted by the Vice Deanship of the Graduate Studies and the forthcoming events in the Research and Statistical Consultancies Unit. He also lauded the Deanship of Scientific Research for its cooperation. Continued services and unceasing efforts  exerted to upgrade scientific research in our beloved university. 

For his part, the Dean of Scientific Research Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Ahdal extended his thanks to the College of Education for their initiative and keenness to achieve mutual benefit. He urged the members and students to involve in the available grants by surfing the deanship website , indicating that are welcoming any enquiries or proposals which might enrich these services and he promised to give notice of the  Deanship's future research grants -Allah willing-.  

  
After that, Dr. Ali Ameen submitted a detailed presentation about the services provided by the Deanship of Scientific Research and the research grants for the faculty members and graduate students. He explained the open programs and how to apply for them. 

The wide-range views and discussions by the students and faculty members related to the research projects and the support assigned to them   contributed to enriching the meeting.

At the conclusion of the meeting memorial shields were handed to the Dean of Scientific Research Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Ahdal and to Dr. Ali Ameen.
