Under patronage of Dean of College of Applied Medical Science Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Ashshi, the College of Applied Medical Sciences has taken part in a workshop titled the "Latest Developments in Dietetics" on Sunday (Jumada al-Oola 14, 1438H). It was held to reactivate role played by the academics in community service and to improve the quality of health in Saudi Arabia.
It was organized by the Clinical Nutrition and Laboratory Medicine Departments. It was attended by nutrition specialists and health ministry workers in Riyadh. The workshop was held at Conference Hall in Golden Tulip Qasr Al Nasiriah Hotel, in cooperation with the Training Center for Healthy Training and Health Balance for Nutrition Therapy.
The event was attended by Dr. Islam Ahmed Heider, Professor of Clinical Nutrition Department, Professor Mohamed Al Sayed Al Boushy, Dr. Nasr Ahmed El Sawy (Laboratory Medicine Department) and with assistance of Dr. Ibrahim Abdullah Al Oraiefi and Coordinator of the event Dr. Emad Ahmed Lotfy Abbas.
