Umm Al-Qura University, through its electronic system, has launched the service of handing out graduation documents and academic records to its graduates of various degrees, as part of the precautionary measures taken to curb the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The Dean of Admission and Registration, Dr. Abdul-Rahman Al-Ghamdi, explained that this service enables graduate students, of all degrees, to obtain a signed and certified copy of the graduation document electronically from their location, instead of going to the university in person to collect it.

On his part, the Acting Dean of the Deanship of Information Technology, Dr. Atef Al-Hejaili, indicated that a link is available to verify the document using QR code technology. Thanks to this technology, the document can be verified through a special service provided on the university website, which allows students to save the document in an electronic form and print it out for use.

His Excellency the President of Umm Al-Qura University, Prof. Abdullah Bafail, congratulated students on their graduation, urging them to gain more knowledge, enrich the scientific and research content, and use their potential and energies in the service of their country.
