Within the framework of cooperation between the College of Applied Medical Sciences and the Training Centers at the Ministry of Health, a lecture on (screening and diagnosis of osteoporosis) was organized in Riyadh at the Conferences hall at Golden Tulip Hotel-Al-Nassirai Palace. A number of faculty members in the college of Applied Medical Sciences presented the lecture including; Dr. Nassir Al-Sawi, Prof. Islam Haider, Prof. Mohamed Al-Booshi and Dr. Khalid Al-Madani besides the founder and the head of the clinical nutrition department at King Abdul-Aziz University Dr. Nahla Khalifa, Mr. Emad Abbas, and Dr. Ashraf Al-Kailani from the Ministry of Health. The lecture was attended by lecturers of Nutrition at King Saud university and the Head of the training Center Dr. Ibrahim Al-Arifi.
