Thanks to Allah, and through the Charity Fund to Support Scholarship Student Programs, the Institute of Arabic Language for Non-Native Speakers with its two departments (i.e. Arabic Language Teaching and Preparation of Teachers) organized a trip for its students to Al-Madinah from 12th to 14th JumadahI 1438H.

The students were accompanied by Dr. Hassan Bukhari, the Dean of the Institute, as well as a number of professors and administrators. The trip included praying in the Prophet's Mosque and visiting the tomb of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and his two companions (God bless them), Al-Baqi’ Cemetery, the martyrs of Uhud and the Trench Battles, Quiba’ and Al-Qiblatain Mosques, and the exhibitions titled “Allah’s Names,” “Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah” and “The Holy Qur’an.” At every previously-mentioned site, the students and their escorts listened to multiple speeches from both Dr. Hasan Abdulhameed Bukhari, Dean of the Institute, and Dr. Ahmad Mash’al Al-Ghamdi. The speeches included instructions, advice and information of faith, culture, history and education, which should be experienced and evoked by every visitor to such sites. Moreover, the students were urged to derive lessons, benefits and morals form their visits to illuminate their life path, encourage themselves to serve their religion, and help themselves carry out their responsibilities as their esteemed predecessors had done before.

On the way back from Al-Madinah to Makkah, the professors held cultural competitions for students. Such competitions included miscellaneous questions about the lessons learned from such blessed journey. The students answered the questions and were awarded at the Institute.
