The College of Engineering in Al-Qunfudhah, under the patronage of the Department of Industrial Engineering, presented the second episode of a series of special episodes dedicated to featuring "Spotlights on Industrial Engineering". The episode was entitled, "The Outputs of Learning, Summer Training, and Professional Development in Responding to the Requirements of the Labor Market". This took place on Monday, 18 Sha`ban 1441 A.H., via the Webex Meet program. His Excellency Dr. Ayman Al-Falih, Head of the Department of Industrial Engineering and Supervisor of the Summer Training Department, conducted the debate.

Prof. Muhammad Al-Amin, Director of the Training Center of the National Aquaculture Group, was the host of this episode. During this session, a discussion was held on how to link the theoretical knowledge acquired by the students during their study period with the practical training and implementing what they learned in their training experience. Moreover, there was a discussion on the importance of learning outcomes in meeting the requirements of the labor market. Following this, the floor was opened to questions from the students, who were provided with adequate answers to all their questions and queries about summer training.

This session comes within the framework of the interest of His Excellency the Dean of the College of Engineering in Al-Qunfudhah, Dr. Alawi bin Muhammad Bamahdi, in providing the best services to our students. It is also part of His Excellency's efforts to harness all work and administrative experience that we have in a manner that serves the college's students as well as the educational process and is in line with the directives of the UQU President, Prof. Abdullah Bafail.
